State the warranty period that applies to the quoted item, when it begins, what is covered, exclusions, return-to-base requirements, testing process, remedies and shipping responsibility. Most products supplied by Moore Automated include a 12-month Moore Automated warranty, unless a different warranty period is stated in the written quotation or order confirmation.
The warranty period starts on the date the product is shipped by Moore Automated. The applicable warranty period shown on the written quotation, pro forma invoice, order confirmation, or product description controls if it differs from the standard 12-month period.
The warranty covers functional defects that arise under normal operating conditions and within the product's stated electrical, mechanical, and environmental specifications.
· Surplus and new-surplus parts: Covered by the Moore Automated warranty stated in the quotation or order confirmation.
· Used or refurbished parts: Covered for functional performance, subject to the exclusions below.
· Factory-new or specially sourced parts: Covered only as stated in the written quotation. An original manufacturer's warranty applies only when Moore Automated expressly confirms this in writing.
· Replacement units: Covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or 90 days from replacement shipment, whichever is longer.
If Moore Automated confirms a covered defect, Moore Automated may, at its option:
· Repair the product;
· Replace it with the same model or a functionally equivalent product of the same or better condition; or
· Refund the amount paid for the affected product if repair or replacement is not reasonably available.
The remedy applies only to the affected product. Removal, installation, programming, commissioning, production loss, and other indirect costs are not covered.
1. Contact Moore Automated before returning anything. Provide the order or invoice number, part number, serial number, a clear fault description, and photos or test results where available.
2. Obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
3. Return the product within 14 calendar days after the RMA is issued. Use the return address and packing instructions shown in the RMA email.
4. Wait for inspection and resolution. After receipt, Moore Automated will test the product and advise whether it will be repaired, replaced, or refunded.
For an approved warranty claim, Moore Automated may provide or reimburse return shipping and will arrange replacement shipping using its approved service. Any prepaid label, carrier, or service level must be authorized in advance. Costs for unauthorized premium shipping are not reimbursable.
· Misuse, neglect, accident, improper storage, improper installation, incorrect wiring, incorrect testing, or operation outside the manufacturer's specifications;
· Electrical surge, over-voltage, water, fire, contamination, corrosion, vibration, excessive heat, or other environmental damage;
· Unauthorized repair, modification, disassembly, tampering, or alteration;
· Normal cosmetic wear or consumable items such as batteries, fuses, lamps, filters, and components with a normal service-life limitation, unless specifically included in writing;
· A removed, altered, unreadable, or mismatched serial number or date code;
· Software, firmware, passwords, licenses, configuration files, compatibility, or revision requirements not expressly confirmed in the quotation; or
· Damage or loss during return shipping caused by inadequate packing or insufficient insurance.
Moore Automated is an independent supplier and is not an authorized distributor, representative, or affiliate of the manufacturers shown on this website unless expressly stated in writing. Manufacturer warranties and technical support do not automatically apply.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Moore Automated's liability for a warranty claim is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the amount paid for the affected product. Any approved refund is made by bank wire transfer in the original invoiced currency. Nothing in this policy excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
The standard warranty is 12 months from shipment, unless a different period is stated in your written quotation or order confirmation.
Yes. Used, refurbished, surplus, and new-surplus parts are covered for functional defects for the period stated in the quotation.
Not necessarily. A replacement may be new, new surplus, refurbished, or used, but it will be functionally equivalent and of the same or better condition than the product originally supplied.
For an approved claim, Moore Automated will normally arrange the shipping method. Do not use premium or customer-selected shipping without written approval.
Only if Moore Automated expressly confirms it in writing. Otherwise, the warranty is provided by Moore Automated.
Send the order or invoice number, exact part number, serial number, fault description, installation details, and clear photos or test results.

Explain eligibility, notification windows, RMA authorisation, required evidence, packaging, restocking or inspection charges, non-returnable items, shipping responsibility and refund or replacement timing.
Do not send any product back until Moore Automated has issued a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number and written return instructions. Packages without a valid RMA number may be refused or returned at the sender's expense.
To request an RMA, provide your company name, order or invoice number, part number, serial number, quantity, reason for return, and supporting photos or test information where relevant.
A product with a suspected functional defect may be returned during the applicable warranty period. The product must be shipped within 14 calendar days after the RMA is issued. Moore Automated will inspect and test it before approving a repair, replacement, or refund under the Warranty Policy.
A request to return a non-defective product must be submitted within 14 calendar days after delivery. Approval is discretionary and depends on the product's condition, sourcing status, and supplier restrictions.
· An approved non-defective return is subject to a 20% restocking and administration fee, unless otherwise stated in writing.
· The customer is responsible for return shipping, insurance, customs charges, and any other return costs.
· The product must be received in the same condition supplied, with all included packaging, manuals, cables, connectors, and accessories.
· Refunds are processed only after receipt, inspection, and testing, and are returned by bank wire transfer to the original payer in the original invoiced currency. Bank charges may be deducted where applicable.
· Special-order, pre-purchased, sourced-on-demand, customized, programmed, calibrated, or modified products;
· Products identified as non-cancellable or non-returnable in the quotation or order confirmation;
· Factory-new products subject to a third-party supplier's or manufacturer's return restriction;
· Software, firmware, licenses, passwords, downloadable content, or configuration services;
· Products installed, energized, damaged, altered, disassembled, or missing identification labels;
· Consumables or items with a limited shelf life; and
· Products returned after the authorized return period.
· Write the RMA number clearly on the outer shipping box, not on the original manufacturer's packaging.
· Place a copy of the RMA email and a description of the issue inside the box.
· Use anti-static bags for electronic components and protect each item separately with suitable foam or cushioning.
· Do not ship loose, unboxed, or inadequately protected products.
· Use a traceable and insured service. Moore Automated is not responsible for loss or damage before the return is received.
Inspect the shipment promptly. If the outer packaging is visibly damaged, note the damage on the carrier's delivery record and, where appropriate, refuse delivery. Keep the product and all packaging, take clear photos, and notify Moore Automated within five calendar days after delivery so a carrier claim can be assessed.
After an approved return is received and inspected, Moore Automated will normally issue the applicable refund within 10 business days by bank wire transfer to the original payer in the original invoiced currency. International bank processing times are outside Moore Automated's control.
You may request a non-defective return within 14 calendar days after delivery. Approval is case-by-case, a 20% restocking fee normally applies, and some sourced or special-order products are non-returnable.
No. Contact Moore Automated first and wait for written return authorization and shipping instructions.
Use only the address provided in the RMA email. Do not return products to a website or invoice address unless the RMA instructions say to do so.
Moore Automated normally arranges an approved warranty return. The customer pays shipping for non-defective returns and for claims found not to be covered.
Normally within 10 business days after the return is received, inspected, and approved. The refund is sent by bank wire transfer to the original payer in the original invoiced currency.
Record the damage with the carrier, keep all packaging, take photos, and notify Moore Automated within five calendar days.

Carrier, dispatch estimate, tracking, Incoterms, customs documents, duties, taxes, insurance and use of a customer courier account should be confirmed at quotation or order stage. Transit dates are estimates unless explicitly guaranteed in writing.
Shipping options, estimated dispatch time, freight charges, and any special requirements are shown in the quotation or order confirmation. Delivery dates are estimates unless Moore Automated expressly agrees to a guaranteed service in writing.
· Default express carrier: DHL, unless another carrier is agreed.
· Other supported carriers: FedEx, UPS, TNT, and other available services depending on the destination.
· Customer carrier account: Moore Automated can ship using the customer's approved carrier account when the account number and service instructions are provided before dispatch.
· Heavy or oversized goods: Pallet, crate, LTL freight, air freight, ocean freight, or the customer's freight forwarder may be used.
· Special documentation: Commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates, or banking documents must be requested before the order is finalized.
Standard in-stock orders are normally processed within three to four business days, depending on testing, packing, payment clearance, and carrier availability. Urgent in-stock orders may be dispatched on the same business day when full payment and complete shipping instructions are received early enough. Same-day dispatch is a service target, not a guarantee.
Products requiring sourcing, testing, refurbishment, programming, export review, or special packing will follow the lead time stated in the quotation.
Product prices do not include shipping, insurance, customs duties, taxes, or import charges unless the quotation expressly states otherwise. Moore Automated may prepay freight and add it to the invoice, or use the customer's carrier account.
Shipment weight, dimensions, and a freight estimate are available on request. Insurance is recommended, especially for high-value or fragile products.
The customer is responsible for import permits, local taxes, duties, brokerage fees, and compliance with destination-country requirements, unless the written Incoterm says otherwise. Moore Automated will provide standard export documents but cannot act as the customer's importer of record unless expressly agreed.
Orders may ship from Xiamen, China; Hong Kong, China; or another sourcing location stated in the quotation. The Incoterm and named place shown on the quotation or commercial invoice control the transfer of cost and risk.
If the customer appoints the carrier or uses its own freight account, risk transfers when the shipment is handed to that carrier, unless the written Incoterm states otherwise.
Tracking details are sent by email after dispatch. The customer must provide a valid email address and monitor the shipment. Inspect the shipment promptly on arrival. Report visible damage, missing cartons, or delivery discrepancies to the carrier and Moore Automated within five calendar days.
Orders are subject to applicable export controls, sanctions, carrier restrictions, and destination-country laws. Moore Automated may request end-use or end-user information and may decline or cancel a shipment that cannot lawfully be completed.
Yes. Moore Automated ships worldwide, subject to export controls, carrier availability, and destination restrictions.
DHL is the default express carrier. FedEx, UPS, TNT, freight services, or your own carrier account may also be used.
Often, yes, for in-stock products after cleared payment and final shipping confirmation. Ask your account manager to confirm the cutoff and availability.
No, unless your quotation specifically says they are included.
The customer is responsible unless a different Incoterm is stated in writing.
Tracking is emailed after shipment. Make sure the email address on your order is correct.
Yes. Provide the valid account number, billing authorization, carrier, and required service level before dispatch.

Send the exact part number and quantity, receive a written quotation, confirm the order, complete payment by bank transfer, and receive testing and shipping updates from a dedicated account manager.
Search the part number on the Moore Automated website and use the inquiry or Fast Quote form. If the product is not listed or shows 'Ask,' contact us directly. Moore Automated sources obsolete, discontinued, and hard-to-find industrial automation parts that may not have a fixed online price.
· Manufacturer or brand;
· Complete part number, including all suffixes and option codes;
· Required quantity;
· Preferred condition, such as factory new, new surplus, or used/refurbished;
· Required revision, firmware, date code, country of origin, certificates, accessories, or compatibility details;
· Delivery country, postal code, preferred carrier, and required delivery date; and
· Photos of the nameplate or existing unit when the identification is uncertain.
The quotation confirms price, one of the four accepted payment currencies (RMB/CNY, GBP, EUR, or USD), product condition, availability, warranty, estimated lead time, shipping terms, and validity period. Quotations are normally valid for 15 to 30 days, but the exact validity date shown on the quotation controls.
Because obsolete and surplus-part availability changes quickly, price and stock are not reserved until Moore Automated accepts the order in writing.
Accept the quotation by returning a signed quotation, a purchase order that references the quotation number, or another written confirmation accepted by your account manager. A purchase order is an ordering document and does not create credit or deferred-payment terms.
An automatic acknowledgement or receipt of a purchase order does not by itself mean the order has been accepted. The order is accepted when Moore Automated issues written confirmation and any required payment has cleared.
Pay 100% of the invoiced amount by bank wire transfer before shipment. Send the exact invoiced currency: RMB/CNY, GBP, EUR, or USD. Moore Automated does not accept credit cards, debit cards, credit accounts, loans, or deferred-payment terms. Use only the bank details shown on the official pro forma invoice and verify any requested bank-detail change using the phone or WhatsApp number published on the Moore Automated website.
Moore Automated verifies the ordered part, performs the applicable inspection or functional testing, and packs the product using appropriate anti-static and shipping protection. Your account manager will confirm dispatch and provide tracking information.
Request any change or cancellation immediately. In-stock products may be cancellable before processing or shipment with Moore Automated's written consent. Special-order, sourced, pre-purchased, customized, programmed, or already shipped products are normally non-cancellable and non-refundable. Any supplier charge, bank charge, or committed cost may be deducted from an approved cancellation refund.
Prices for obsolete and hard-to-find parts change with supply and condition. Moore Automated confirms the current price and lead time for each inquiry.
The product is not confirmed as immediately available. Send an inquiry and Moore Automated will check inventory or source it for you.
Usually 15 to 30 days. The validity date printed on your quotation controls.
Yes. Send the part number, quantity, condition, and delivery details to sales@mooreplc.com or WhatsApp +86 180 2077 6792.
Only RMB/CNY, GBP, EUR, and USD. Pay in the exact currency stated on the quotation and invoice.
No. Payment is accepted only by bank wire transfer, and full cleared payment is required before shipment.
Often, for confirmed in-stock items after cleared payment and final shipping instructions. Same-day dispatch must be confirmed by your account manager.
Contact Moore Automated immediately. Cancellation is not guaranteed, especially for sourced, special-order, processed, or shipped products.

Availability status and physical condition are different. Confirm both on the written quotation before ordering, especially for obsolete, surplus, or revision-sensitive products.
· In Stock: The item is recorded in available inventory when checked. Stock remains subject to final verification and is not reserved until the order is accepted.
· Ask / Quote Required: Availability, price, condition, or lead time must be confirmed. Moore Automated may check internal stock or source the product.
· Sourcing / On Request: The item is not currently confirmed in stock and will be sourced after inquiry or order approval.
· Reserved: Stock is allocated to an accepted order for the agreed period.
· Out of Stock / Unavailable: No supply is currently confirmed. Moore Automated may propose an alternative or compatible model if requested.
· Discontinued / Obsolete: The original manufacturer no longer actively produces or supports the model, but surplus, refurbished, or used units may still be available.
· Used / Refurbished: Previously used, cleaned, inspected, and refurbished as needed. Minor cosmetic wear may be present.
· New Without Original Packaging: Unused product without the original manufacturer packaging.
· New in Opened Original Packaging: Unused product in original packaging that has been opened or shows age, labels, marks, or storage wear.

· New in Original Packaging: Unused product in original manufacturer packaging that was not originally factory sealed.
· Factory New: A new and current product sourced through the manufacturer or an authorized supply channel when expressly confirmed in the quotation.
· Incoming items are visually inspected for obvious physical defects;
· Electronic components are handled using appropriate anti-static procedures;
· Items are cleaned where appropriate;
· Functional testing is performed when suitable equipment and test procedures are available;
· Limited-life components such as batteries, electrolytic capacitors, or NVRAM may be replaced when refurbishment requires it; and
· Serial numbers and shipping records are tracked for order verification and warranty administration.
A surplus or obsolete product may have an older manufacturing date, date code, hardware revision, firmware revision, or design than a currently manufactured unit. Original accessories, manuals, cables, connectors, batteries, keys, mounting hardware, software, and licenses are included only when stated in the quotation.
Website images may be representative. If appearance, label, revision, firmware, origin, certificate, or accessory content is critical, request actual photos and written confirmation before ordering.
Moore Automated supplies hardware unless the quotation expressly includes software or a service. Customers are responsible for obtaining lawful software, firmware, passwords, licenses, updates, and manufacturer permissions. Compatibility with a particular system, application, or revision is not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
Moore Automated is an independent supplier and is not an authorized distributor, representative, or affiliate of the manufacturers shown on the website unless expressly stated. Brand names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify compatible products.
No. It means inventory is recorded as available when checked. Final stock is confirmed on the quotation or order confirmation.
No. Surplus inventory can be new surplus, opened-package, unpackaged, used, or refurbished. The quotation should state the exact condition.
Not unless it is confirmed in writing. Website images may be representative, and surplus revision or date code can vary.
Only if the quotation or product description states that they are included.
Moore Automated inspects all items and functionally tests products when suitable equipment and procedures are available.
Not automatically. Confirm firmware, software, password, and license requirements before ordering.
Yes. Ask your account manager for actual-unit and nameplate photos when condition, revision, or date code is important.

Bank wire transfer is the only accepted payment method. Payment instructions are provided on the official Moore Automated pro forma invoice or commercial invoice.

Moore Automated sends product, service, and industry-related marketing emails only where legally permitted. We identify ourselves, use accurate sender and subject information, and provide a clear way to unsubscribe. Marketing preferences do not prevent essential quotation, order, payment, shipping, warranty, return, security, or customer-service communications.
This Email Marketing Policy applies to newsletters, product and stock-availability updates, service announcements, promotions, industry information, and similar commercial emails sent by or on behalf of Moore Automated. It explains how recipients are added, what we send, how email engagement may be measured, and how recipients can unsubscribe or exercise privacy rights.
This policy should be read together with the Moore Automated Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If mandatory law provides a recipient with greater protection, that law controls.
We may receive a business email address when a person:
· Subscribes to a Moore Automated newsletter, product alert, or marketing list;
· Requests a quotation, product information, sourcing assistance, or customer support and separately agrees to relevant marketing where consent is required;
· Becomes a customer or business contact and marketing to that contact is permitted by applicable law;
· Provides contact details at a trade event, meeting, or other business interaction and asks for or reasonably expects the specific follow-up; or
· Is referred to us and then confirms that Moore Automated may send marketing communications.
A publicly available email address is not, by itself, treated as unlimited permission to send marketing. We do not intentionally use unlawfully harvested, deceptively obtained, or non-compliant email lists.
Where consent or a recipient's request is required, Moore Automated will seek that consent or request before sending marketing email and will keep an appropriate record. Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing products or receiving an ordinary quotation.
In jurisdictions that allow business-to-business marketing based on an existing customer relationship or another lawful ground, we may send relevant communications after considering the recipient's reasonable expectations and privacy interests. We will still provide a simple way to object. We do not rely on an existing relationship where local electronic-marketing rules require prior consent.
· Newsletters and industrial automation market information;
· Product availability, stock, lead-time, replacement, and discontinued-part sourcing updates;
· Information about repair, exchange, warranty, logistics, and related services;
· New products, supplier or service developments, and event information;

Marketing content is prepared for business and professional recipients. Product availability, price, condition, warranty, lead time, tax treatment, and shipping terms remain subject to the written quotation and order confirmation.
Marketing emails are optional. Essential service emails are sent to respond to a request or administer an existing business relationship and may include quotation responses, order confirmations, payment verification, shipping and tracking notices, warranty or return communications, product-safety notices, account-security messages, and replies from customer service.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop these necessary non-marketing communications. We will not disguise a promotional email as a transactional or service message.
Moore Automated marketing emails will use accurate sender, reply-to, routing, and subject information. They will identify Moore Automated, describe their commercial nature where required, and include a working unsubscribe method. Emails will also contain the sender identification and contact details required by applicable law, including a valid postal address where required.
We do not intentionally use false or misleading headers, deceptive subject lines, concealed sender identities, or an unsubscribe process designed to prevent a valid request.
Email frequency varies according to the recipient's selections, product interests, business relationship, and the availability of relevant information. We do not guarantee a fixed schedule. We aim to keep marketing proportionate and relevant to industrial automation customers and contacts.
A recipient may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email, replying with a clear request such as "Unsubscribe," or contacting sales@mooreplc.com. No fee is charged and the recipient does not need to provide a reason.
We process valid requests promptly and, as an operational standard, no later than 10 business days. A small number of emails already queued before the request may still arrive. If a request is sent from a different address, the recipient should identify the address that must be removed.
After an opt-out, we may retain the minimum email address and suppression record needed to ensure that the address is not accidentally re-added. A suppression record is not used to send new marketing.
Where legally permitted, marketing emails may contain unique links or small tracking pixels that help us understand delivery, opens, clicks, device or browser type, approximate location derived from an IP address, and interactions with linked website pages. We use this information to measure performance, reduce irrelevant messages, maintain security, and improve content.
Email software, privacy settings, image blocking, and similar technology may prevent or make these measurements inaccurate. Recipients may block remote images, adjust email privacy settings, or unsubscribe. Website cookies and similar technologies are described in the Cookie Policy.
We may use email-delivery platforms, customer relationship management systems, hosting providers, security providers, and analytics services to operate email communications. These providers may process email addresses, subscription records, delivery data, and engagement information only for authorized purposes and subject to appropriate confidentiality, security, and data-protection requirements.
Because Moore Automated serves international customers, relevant information may be processed across borders. We apply legally required notices, contractual measures, consents, or other safeguards for an international transfer where applicable.
We retain subscription and consent records, campaign history, engagement information, and suppression records only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with law, resolve disputes, demonstrate compliance, and honour marketing objections.
Subject to applicable law, a recipient may request access to or correction or deletion of personal information, withdraw consent, or object to direct marketing and certain processing. Requests may be sent to sales@mooreplc.com. We may take reasonable steps to verify identity before completing a privacy request.
Moore Automated accepts payment only by bank wire transfer in the invoiced currency: RMB/CNY, GBP, EUR, or USD. A marketing email will not be used to demand payment, request passwords, or announce an unverified change of bank account.
Before paying, customers must compare the payment details with the formal quotation or pro forma invoice and independently verify any unexpected bank-detail change through the official contact information on https://www.mooreautomated.com/. Do not use a phone number supplied only in a suspicious email.
Moore Automated provides industrial automation products and services to business customers. Our marketing communications are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly subscribe a person under 18 to a marketing list.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our email practices, technology, or legal obligations. The revised version applies from the last-updated date shown on the page. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
Questions, complaints, unsubscribe requests, and privacy requests may be sent to sales@mooreplc.com or discussed by phone or WhatsApp at +86 180 2077 6792.
You may have subscribed, requested relevant information, agreed during a business interaction, or have an existing business relationship in a jurisdiction where the communication is permitted. If you do not want marketing, use the unsubscribe link or contact us.
We do not intentionally use unlawfully harvested, deceptively obtained, or non-compliant lists. A publicly listed business email address is not treated as unlimited marketing permission.
Use the unsubscribe link in the email, reply with a clear request such as "Unsubscribe," or email sales@mooreplc.com from the address you want removed.
We process valid requests promptly and, as an operational standard, no later than 10 business days. Messages already queued before processing may still arrive.
Yes, when needed to answer your request or administer an order. Quotations, payment verification, shipping, tracking, warranty, return, security, and customer-service messages are not marketing subscriptions.
If a preference option is available in the email, you may select the topics you want. You may also contact us, and we will apply a category preference where our systems reasonably support it.
Reply to the email with "Unsubscribe" or send your request to sales@mooreplc.com. Include the email address receiving the messages if it is different from the address you use to contact us.

Tax treatment depends on the invoicing entity, shipping origin, delivery destination, and agreed Incoterm. Orders delivered within mainland China are subject to applicable PRC value-added tax (VAT). For international shipments, destination-country import duties, import VAT/GST, brokerage, and similar charges are normally the customer's responsibility unless the written quotation expressly states otherwise.
This page explains Moore Automated's standard tax, VAT, customs, and invoicing treatment for business customers. The exact tax treatment for an order is determined by applicable law and the invoicing entity, shipping origin, destination, product classification, and Incoterm shown on the written quotation, pro forma invoice, order confirmation, or commercial invoice.
If this page conflicts with mandatory law, mandatory law controls. If an order requires a special tax or customs arrangement, it must be reviewed and confirmed in writing before the order is accepted.
A sale invoiced by a PRC entity and delivered within mainland China is subject to PRC VAT at the rate or levy rate required by current law and the seller's taxpayer status. Industrial automation parts sold by a PRC general VAT taxpayer are generally subject to the standard 13% VAT rate. A different lawful treatment may apply where the seller has a different taxpayer status or the transaction qualifies for a specific rule.
Unless the quotation expressly states that VAT is included, prices are quoted exclusive of applicable VAT. The quotation and invoice will show the tax treatment applied to the order.
Goods lawfully exported from mainland China may qualify for PRC VAT zero-rating, exemption, or export refund treatment, subject to the product, customs declaration, supporting documents, filing deadlines, and the invoicing entity's eligibility. Moore Automated will apply the treatment required for the actual transaction.
A zero-rated or export-tax treatment in China does not mean the shipment is tax-free in the destination country. The importing country may still charge customs duty, import VAT, GST, sales tax, brokerage, handling fees, or other government charges.
Orders shipped from Hong Kong, China, or another sourcing location follow the tax, customs, and invoicing rules applicable to the actual invoicing entity, shipping origin, destination, and agreed Incoterm.
Unless the written quotation expressly includes a different arrangement, the customer is the importer of record and is responsible for:
· Customs duties and tariff charges;
· Import VAT, GST, sales tax, or similar destination taxes;
· Customs brokerage, clearance, storage, examination, and handling fees;
· Import licences, permits, product registrations, and local compliance costs; and
· Taxes or fees assessed after delivery or reassessment by a customs or tax authority.
Moore Automated normally does not act as the customer's importer of record. Any DDP, tax-prepaid, or duty-prepaid service must be expressly quoted and accepted in writing before shipment.
Foreign sales-tax exemption certificates, resale certificates, VAT numbers, or tax-exempt organization documents do not automatically exempt an order from PRC VAT and do not remove destination-country import taxes. Unlike a US state sales-tax exemption system, PRC VAT exemptions are based on Chinese law and the facts of the transaction, not solely on a customer's foreign exemption certificate.
If a customer believes a specific statutory exemption applies, the customer must send the supporting documents before quotation acceptance. Moore Automated may request additional evidence and will confirm in writing whether the requested treatment can be applied. No exemption is effective until it has been approved in writing for the specific order.
· Mainland China orders: A PRC VAT invoice may be issued where required and permitted. The customer may be asked for its full legal name, Unified Social Credit Code or taxpayer identification number, registered address and telephone number, bank and account information, and invoice-delivery email.
· International orders: Moore Automated normally provides a pro forma invoice before payment and a commercial invoice and packing list for export and import clearance.
· Additional documents: Certificates of origin, legalization, chamber certification, special customs statements, or other non-standard documents must be requested before order confirmation and may involve additional charges or lead time.
The customer is responsible for checking whether the documents meet its local import, accounting, and tax requirements before the order is finalized.
Product prices exclude shipping, insurance, customs duties, destination-country taxes, and import charges unless the written quotation expressly states otherwise. Payment is accepted only by bank wire transfer in the exact invoiced currency: RMB/CNY, GBP, EUR, or USD. No other currencies are accepted.
Under PRC VAT rules, sales settled in a foreign currency are converted into RMB for Chinese tax accounting. This tax conversion does not change the customer's obligation to pay the exact currency and full amount stated on the invoice. Bank and currency-conversion charges are not taxes and remain the customer's responsibility.
Commercial and customs documents must accurately describe the goods, transaction value, quantity, origin, and other required information. Moore Automated will not declare a false value, mark a commercial shipment as a gift, use an intentionally incorrect classification, or provide misleading documents to reduce tax or duty.
Any HS code or country-of-origin information provided by Moore Automated is based on available product and sourcing information. The customer or its customs broker remains responsible for confirming the final import classification, admissibility, and local tax treatment.
Product returns require prior authorization under the Returns Policy. If a taxable mainland China sale is cancelled, reduced, or returned, any VAT adjustment, invoice cancellation, or red-letter invoice will be handled in accordance with PRC tax rules. The customer must provide reasonable cooperation and return or correct documents where required.
Approved product refunds are made by bank wire transfer to the original payer in the original invoiced currency. Import duties, import VAT/GST, brokerage, and other amounts paid to foreign authorities or third parties are not refunded by Moore Automated. The customer must apply to the relevant authority or service provider where a refund is available.
Tax and customs rules may change. Moore Automated may update this page and will apply the rules in force for the actual transaction. This page is general customer information and is not personal tax or legal advice. Customers should obtain advice from their own tax or customs adviser for destination-country obligations.
For an order invoiced by a PRC entity and delivered within mainland China, applicable PRC VAT is charged. Industrial automation goods sold by a PRC general VAT taxpayer are generally subject to 13% VAT, but the exact lawful treatment is shown on the quotation and invoice.
Not unless the written quotation expressly says that VAT is included. The quotation will identify the applicable tax treatment.
No. A shipment may receive zero-rated, exempt, or export-refund treatment for PRC VAT, but the destination country may still charge customs duty, import VAT/GST, brokerage, and other fees.
The customer or importer of record normally pays them unless the written quotation expressly includes a duty-paid or tax-prepaid arrangement.
Only when DDP or another tax-prepaid arrangement is specifically reviewed, quoted, and confirmed in writing before shipment. It is not the default shipping term.
You may send it for review, but it does not automatically remove PRC VAT or destination-country import taxes. Any exemption must be legally available and approved in writing for the specific order.
Where required and legally permitted for a mainland China transaction, a PRC VAT invoice can be issued using the verified customer and order information. Provide complete invoicing details before payment.
Moore Automated normally supplies a pro forma invoice before payment and a commercial invoice and packing list for shipment. Request any certificate of origin, legalization, or other special document before order confirmation.
No. Customs documents must accurately state the commercial transaction and goods.
The tax and customs treatment follows the actual invoicing entity, shipping origin, destination, product, and Incoterm stated in the quotation or shipping documents.
Only RMB/CNY, GBP, EUR, and USD by bank wire transfer. Pay the exact currency stated on the quotation and invoice.
No. Amounts paid to customs authorities, tax authorities, brokers, or carriers are not held by Moore Automated. The customer must request any available refund from the relevant authority or provider.
