Warranty Policy

Last updated: 15 September 2026

Products supplied by Moore Automated include a 12-month Moore Automated warranty starting on the shipment date. Coverage applies to eligible functional defects under normal use, subject to the exclusions and claim procedure in our Warranty Policy. This is a supplier warranty; a manufacturer warranty does not automatically apply.

Coverage Period

Products supplied by Moore Automated include a 12-month Moore Automated warranty starting on the shipment date. Orders accepted before this update remain governed by their agreed terms; this update does not retroactively amend existing orders.

The warranty covers functional defects that arise under normal operating conditions and within the product's stated electrical, mechanical, and environmental specifications.

Products Covered

· New and unused parts, including new surplus: Covered by our 12-month supplier warranty from the shipment date.

· Supply condition: We do not sell used, dismantled or refurbished parts.

· Manufacturer warranty: An original manufacturer's warranty does not automatically apply and must be expressly confirmed in writing.

· Replacement units: Covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or 90 days from replacement shipment, whichever is longer.

Warranty Remedy

If Moore Automated confirms a covered defect, Moore Automated may, at its option:

· Repair the product;

· Replace it with a new and unused item. Any alternative model requires the customer’s written acceptance and compatibility review before shipment. We do not substitute a used or refurbished replacement; or

· Refund the amount paid for the affected product if repair or replacement is not reasonably available.

The remedy applies only to the affected product. Removal, installation, programming, commissioning, production loss, and other indirect costs are not covered.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

1. Contact Moore Automated before returning anything. Provide the order or invoice number, part number, serial number, a clear fault description, and photos or test results where available.

2. Obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. Unauthorized returns may be refused.

3. Return the product within 14 calendar days after the RMA is issued. Use the return address and packing instructions shown in the RMA email.

4. Wait for inspection and resolution. After receipt, Moore Automated will assess the reported fault under this policy. Any applicable tests depend on suitable equipment and procedures. We will confirm the approved resolution in writing.

Warranty Shipping

For an approved warranty claim, Moore Automated may provide or reimburse return shipping and will arrange replacement shipping using its approved service. Any prepaid label, carrier, or service level must be authorized in advance. Costs for unauthorized premium shipping are not reimbursable.

What Is Not Covered

· Misuse, neglect, accident, improper storage, improper installation, incorrect wiring, incorrect testing, or operation outside the manufacturer's specifications;

· Electrical surge, over-voltage, water, fire, contamination, corrosion, vibration, excessive heat, or other environmental damage;

· Unauthorized repair, modification, disassembly, tampering, or alteration;

· Normal cosmetic wear or consumable items such as batteries, fuses, lamps, filters, and components with a normal service-life limitation, unless specifically included in writing;

· A removed, altered, unreadable, or mismatched serial number or date code;

· Software, firmware, passwords, licenses, configuration files, compatibility, or revision requirements not expressly confirmed in the quotation; or

· Damage or loss during return shipping caused by inadequate packing or insufficient insurance.

Manufacturer Relationship and Liability

Moore Automated is an independent supplier and is not an authorized distributor, representative, or affiliate of the manufacturers shown on this website unless expressly stated in writing. Manufacturer warranties and technical support do not automatically apply.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Moore Automated's liability for a warranty claim is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the amount paid for the affected product. Any approved refund is made by bank wire transfer in the original invoiced currency. Nothing in this policy excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
