Features:
- Bus Transmitter module
- Control Systems Procontrol P13 Controllers
- Connects the cabinet to a channel of the PROCONTROL remote bus
Its core function is to provide highly reliable digital monitoring and protection, capable of processing large-scale signals from boiler control and turbine protection to plant-wide auxiliary systems in real time. With its triple modular redundancy (TMR) architecture and robust fault-tolerant design, the P13 ensures continuous operation even in extreme industrial environments, such as high temperatures and strong electromagnetic interference, acting like a central nervous system to safeguard the safety and stability of energy infrastructure.
Through a series of dedicated I/O modules, processors, and communication interfaces (such as the 70BT01C bus transmitter), it achieves seamless integration from field sensor data acquisition to host data monitoring. The system not only supports complex closed-loop control logic and sequential control but also integrates high-precision self-diagnostic functions, enabling accurate hardware fault location and supporting hot-swappable maintenance, thereby significantly reducing plant downtime risk and operating costs.

Its working principle is based on distributed processing and loop bus communication mechanisms: the system acquires analog and digital signals from the field in real time through I/O modules distributed on various racks, and converts them into standardized data telegrams. These telegrams are transmitted at high speed to the central processing unit (e.g., 70PR07) via a dedicated station bus or plant-wide bus. The processor performs logical operations according to a preset control algorithm. The operation results are then sent back to the actuators via the bus to complete closed-loop control; simultaneously, all key data is uploaded to the operator station, enabling real-time monitoring and data sharing throughout the plant.
Rack-to-Rack Communication:Its most common use is transmitting data telegrams from I/O racks to the central processing rack. It bridges the local "plant bus," ensuring that signals from field sensors reach the main controller without delay.
Power Plant Control Systems:The 70BT01C is an essential device in fossil fuel, nuclear, and hydroelectric power plants. It processes critical telemetry data for boiler control, turbine protection, and generator monitoring; loss of communication links can lead to plant tripping.
Large-Scale Industrial Automation:In addition to power plants, it is used in steel mills, cement plants, and shipyards. It coordinates distributed I/O stations across large physical distances, ensuring synchronized control of heavy machinery.
Data Aggregation for Monitoring:It acts as a gateway for field variables (pressure, flow, temperature). It encapsulates these analog and binary signals into serial bus telegrams.
