Features:
- Industrial-grade top-mount painting robot card module
- Integrated alongside the 3HNE 06565-1/05 structural card framework
- The 3HNE 07212-1 synchronous drive/controller submodule is used
The primary function of this module is to achieve high-precision process control and data communication. It can precisely adjust key parameters in the spraying process, such as atomizing air pressure, fan-shaped air pressure, and paint flow rate of the spray gun, ensuring that the robot can spray a uniform, high-quality paint film onto complex workpiece surfaces.
Furthermore, it integrates system status monitoring and fault diagnosis functions, enabling real-time detection of abnormal fluctuations during the spraying process and preventing material waste or production interruptions due to hardware failures or imbalances in process parameters.
The ASDI-03 3HNA010255-001 ABB Paint Robot Module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Based on closed-loop feedback control and a microprocessor data exchange mechanism, at the start of the spraying operation, the module receives set parameters from the robot's main system (e.g., the ABB IPS spraying control system) via its integrated microprocessor and converts them into high-precision electrical control signals (e.g., pulses or analog voltages), directly driving the actuators at the spraying site to regulate air pressure and flow.
During the operation, on-site sensors continuously collect actual flow and pressure data and feed it back to the control board. The control algorithm within the control board performs millisecond-level comparisons and calculations between the "setpoint" and the "feedback value," automatically correcting deviations to maintain dynamic balance in the constantly changing industrial production environment.
Since this module is discontinued and the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) has ceased production, replacement parts must be sourced from global suppliers of industrial automation and marine surplus materials.
Verification Warning: When ordering replacement parts, ensure the version number matches your system requirements (version number: 00 is the standard version) to prevent firmware conflicts with other components of the robot I/O handling rack.
