Bently Nevada lists 16710-AA as the armored interconnect-cable family for the 177230 Seismic Transmitter. The AA position specifies cable length in feet, in one-foot increments from 3 to 99 ft. In 16710-50, the length code therefore identifies a 50 ft cable, approximately 15.2 m. The cable carries the transmitter’s loop and dynamic-signal connections between the machine-mounted device and the receiving control or monitoring system while adding mechanical armor to the route. The 177230 uses a three-pin MIL-C-5015 connector and requires its dynamic-signal negative to remain isolated from ground. Cable routing, shield termination, connector pinout and receiving-input design must be checked together. The 16710-50 number should not be confused with the unarmored 16925 cable family.

The AA field is ordered in feet. Code 50 provides a 50 ft armored route; confirm the measured path, service loop and connector access before fixing supports.
Verify all three transmitter pins, preserve loop polarity and keep the shared loop-return/dynamic-reference terminal isolated from ground. Confirm the receiving input’s power and isolation arrangement.
Support the armored cable without crushing or sharply bending it, protect both connector ends and use the project’s approved glands and bonding practice. Armor does not alter the electrical pinout.
