The IC200ALG620 is a high-performance 16-bit, 4-channel RTD analog input module belonging to the VersaMax series, developed and manufactured by GE Fanuc (now Emerson). Designed for industrial automation control systems, this module connects to and acquires analog signals from a variety of resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) and purely resistive devices. It features excellent hardware compatibility, supporting three-wire or four-wire configurations and directly supporting mixed configurations of platinum RTDs (e.g., Pt100, Pt25, Pt1000), copper RTDs (e.g., Cu10, Cu50, Cu100), nickel RTDs (Ni120), and nickel-iron RTDs (604 ohms).
This module offers rich diagnostic and alarm functions and maintenance-free features for intelligent monitoring and independent channel management. One of its core highlights is that it requires no external circuit power supply; only the system backplane needs to generate a matching sensor excitation current, which greatly simplifies on-site electrical wiring. The module's four channels are completely independent, and users can individually configure the range (e.g., 0-500 ohms or 0-3000 ohms) and temperature unit (Celsius, Fahrenheit, or actual resistance value) for each channel.
