CC-TDIL51 is a Honeywell Experion Series C nonredundant input/output termination assembly for 24 VDC digital inputs. Honeywell identifies it as the nominal 9-inch IOTA paired with the CC-PDIL51 32-channel input module. The paired assembly provides terminal and field-power interfacing but does not support open-wire detection. Honeywell's May 2026 lifecycle update lists the IOTA as Phase Out hardware for installed-base spares.
CC-TDIL51 is the nonredundant input/output termination assembly for the CC-PDIL51 Series C 24 VDC digital-input module. Honeywell's model table identifies the IOTA as a nominal 9-inch assembly, while CC-TDIL61 is the 12-inch redundant counterpart. The paired CC-PDIL51/CC-TDIL51 installation supports 32 discrete inputs, internal or external field-power selection, onboard excitation power and direct or reverse input indication. It is not an input-processing module by itself.
Electrical figures must be read at the paired-assembly boundary. Honeywell specifies 18-30 VDC field power, an ON threshold of 13 VDC or 3 mA, an OFF threshold of 5 VDC or 1.2 mA, 4.2-kilohm input impedance and a 5 ms filter-and-isolation delay. The 1000 VAC RMS galvanic-isolation rating is implemented optically in the CC-PDIL51 IOM. This execution has no open-wire detection, so that capability must not be copied from other Series C digital-input arrangements.
Use CC-TDIL51 only as the documented nonredundant IOTA for CC-PDIL51. CC-TDIL61 is the redundant IOTA and has a different nominal assembly length. Verify the installed IOM, carrier position, IOTA keying, terminal numbering and complete catalog marking before replacement; do not treat this IOTA as the electronic input module.
Preserve the 24 VDC field-power arrangement, polarity, common references and every terminal assignment. The paired installation supports internal or external field power and has no open-wire detection. Verify the ON and OFF thresholds, field-circuit resistance, grounding and direct or reverse indication in the control database before reconnecting field devices.
Honeywell's May 2026 table lists the CC-PDIL51, CC-TDIL51 and CC-TDIL61 group as Phase Out with spares for installed systems and no use for greenfield or brownfield expansion. The listed expansion path uses CC-PDIL01 with CC-TDIL01 or CC-TDIL11. Treat that as an engineered migration path, not an unrestricted drop-in substitution.
Pair the IOTA with CC-PDIL51 and preserve all 32 terminal assignments, common references, field-power selection and channel indication settings. The 18-30 VDC range, ON/OFF thresholds, impedance, filtering and isolation figures describe the complete paired input path; optical isolation resides in the IOM. Confirm keying and the nonredundant architecture before energizing the assembly.
Use this Phase Out hardware only as an approved installed-base spare. Record the IOM identity, IOTA marking, terminal map, field-power source and configured direct or reverse logic before removal. Because open-wire detection is not supported, do not introduce diagnostics from another DI family. After installation, prove each state transition and alarm before returning equipment to automatic service.
