RDCO-02C is a coated ABB DDCS communication option module for RMIO/RDCU and BCU control units. It adds four fiber-optic DDCS channels: CH0 and CH1 use 5 MBd optical components, while CH2 and CH3 use 10 MBd components. The module installs in the drive DDCS position through a 20-pin connector and is powered by the control unit.
CH0 normally serves an overriding system, CH1 serves I/O options and the supply unit, CH2 supports a Master/Follower link, and CH3 serves an ACS800 PC tool. The drive application program determines the final channel assignments.
Match the optical component at both ends of each link. RDCO-02C uses 5 MBd components on CH0/CH1 and 10 MBd components on CH2/CH3; POF works with both types, while HCS is supported by the 10 MBd channels.
Install the module only after isolating the drive and confirming discharge. Seat it in the DDCS position, fasten both screws for grounding and EMC performance, route fibers without kinks or sharp-edge contact, and connect transmitters to receivers according to color coding.
Confirm the complete marking RDCO-02C 3ABD64606956 and the ABB product number 64606956. Provide clear photographs of the module label, coating indication, control-unit type, DDCS slot and connected fiber channels. If the C suffix or any identifier is unclear, Moore Automated will match the replacement only after the nameplate and installed hardware are reviewed.
For an accurate quotation, send the required quantity, complete RDCO-02C 3ABD64606956 designation, label photographs, installed RMIO/RDCU or BCU control-unit reference, DDCS channel use and any required screws or fiber accessories. Include the receiving country and requested delivery date so Moore Automated can confirm the exact supplied scope, availability and shipping terms.
