Match the complete redundant architecture
Confirm the SC300E main chassis, three processors, dual power supplies and every installed I/O or communication module. Replacement planning must preserve the documented TMR voting and safety-application configuration.
Verify local and fiber-optic extensions
Distinguish the CXB extension chassis from CXM and CXS remote I/O chassis. Check AC or DC supply, fiber-optic links, bus-extension modules and cabinet wiring against the approved system drawings.
Commission under the approved safety procedure
After hardware replacement, verify diagnostics, communications, channel states and the approved shutdown or protection logic with the process in a safe condition. Functional validation must follow the site safety lifecycle and change-control records.
