The Allen Bradley 1756-IF8 is an input module designed specifically for ControlLogix sensor series. This module offers multiple input configurations, including eight single-ended inputs, four differential inputs, and two high-speed differential inputs. This wide input range allows for flexible monitoring of various signal types.
For current input, the module supports a current range of 0 to 20 mA, compatible with various sensor types. For voltage input, it can accurately handle voltage values from -10 to 10V, 0 to 10V, or 0 to 5V. The module has low power consumption, consuming 150 mA with a 5.1V DC supply and 40 mA with a 24V DC supply, with a total backplane power consumption of only 1.73 watts.
The 1756-IF8 Allen Bradley Analog input module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
