Features:
- 2.2 A continuous / 14 A peak output: the 1 kW power stage is specified for the documented mains supply and requires the stated temperature and altitude derating.

B&R identifies 8V1022.001-2 as the partially coated 1 kW variant of the ACOPOS servo-drive range. Its output stage provides 2.2 A continuous current and 14 A peak current, with the continuous rating specified at the manufacturer's nominal operating conditions. The drive combines the mains line filter, DC bus, braking resistor and electronic restart inhibit in a modular unit. Four plug-in positions allow the machine builder to select the required network and motor-feedback interfaces; the full drive number alone does not identify which optional cards are installed. Power, feedback and control connections use plug-in connectors. Dedicated reference, limit and trigger inputs support axis integration, while READY, RUN and ERROR indicators assist diagnostics. Selection must account for the motor, supply network, switching frequency, cabinet cooling and the existing Automation Studio configuration.

Match the motor and encoder plug-in card before restoring the axis parameters. The manufacturer lists EnDat, HIPERFACE, resolver, incremental/SSI and BiSS interface options; select the exact type used by the machine.
The 1 kW drive requires a compatible TT or TN supply and 24 VDC auxiliary power. Maintain the specified cooling clearances and apply temperature, altitude and switching-frequency derating. The nominal continuous current is 2.2 Aeff.
Identify every removable connector before replacement. B&R requires protective-earth connection even during a brief test. Isolate the supply and verify DC-bus discharge before touching connections; retain the installed safety-circuit design.
