X20CP1484-1 is distinguished by the -1 suffix, Celeron 266-compatible processor, 64 MB SDRAM and 1 MB SRAM. Application memory is provided by a separately ordered CompactFlash card and should be confirmed with the existing project.
The CPU provides RS232, 10/100 Ethernet, POWERLINK V1/V2, two USB 1.1 Type A interfaces and one X2X Link master. Record the active ports, network settings and modular interface use before replacement.
Before changing the CPU, preserve the Automation Studio project, CompactFlash contents, interface settings and X20 I/O topology. Confirm 24 VDC supply conditions and follow B&R procedures for hardware replacement and recommissioning.
