The 21000 and 24701 Proximity Probe Housing Assemblies are available with Canadian Standards Association (CSA) approvals. They are rated explosion proof for hazardous areas. Bently Nevada offers a probe support and oil seal (part number 37948-01) for long sleeves that must go through an inner bearing housing.
To externally mount proximity probes, use one of these allmetal Proximity Probe Housing Assemblies: 21000 aluminum probe housing assembly; 24701 stainless steel probe housing assembly The 21000 and 24701 Proximity Probe Housing Assemblies consist of the following parts:A dome cover that screws into the body of the housing; Threaded ports for conduit connections; A probe sleeve of optional length; 0-rings; A reverse mount proximity probe; A thread seal; Optional conduit fittings; An optional standoff adapter.
The 21000-34-05-00-022-03-02 Bently Nevada Proximity Probe Housing Assemblies may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

1.High Safety and Explosion-Proof Rating: Option A = 34 indicates that its built-in 3300 XL 8mm probe has passed multiple mainstream explosion-proof certifications (such as ATEX, IECEx, CSA, etc.), making it ideal for hazardous areas (Class I Zone 1 / Zone 0, 1) where flammable and explosive gases are present, such as in the oil, gas, and chemical industries.
2.No Extension Joints and Short Sleeve: The absence of extension joints (Option 00) and a short penetration depth of 2.2 inches (approximately 56mm) indicate that this assembly is designed for bearing housings with extremely thin housings and limited external space. Furthermore, the extension joint-free design lowers the center of gravity of the external junction box, effectively resisting high-frequency vibrations from field machinery.
3.Complete Cable Sealing Protection: Option E = 03 is a fully functional connector assembly. In addition to sealing unused sockets, it provides cable seals (joints) that tightly lock and seal outgoing extension cables, ensuring the entire aluminum junction box achieves NEMA 4 / IP66 waterproof and dustproof performance.
