The Bently Nevada 330905-00-25-05-02-05 is a 3300 NSv proximity probe and a component of the 3300 XL NSv proximity transducer system. This complete system—comprising the 3300 NSv probe, 3300 NSv extension cable, and 3300 XL NSv Proximitor sensor—is designed for the non-contact measurement of shaft displacement in machinery utilizing fluid-film bearings.
This specific probe model features M10 × 1 metric mounting threads, a 250 mm case length, and a 0.5 m probe length; it is also equipped with a ClickLoc connector and a multi-agency approval configuration. The 3300 XL NSv system is used not only for radial vibration and radial position measurements but also for axial/thrust position, speed, and zero-speed measurements, as well as phase reference/Keyphasor signal acquisition.

The 3300 XL NSv system provides non-contact eddy-current measurement for radial vibration, radial position, axial/thrust position, tachometer, zero-speed, and Keyphasor applications. The manufacturer specifically positions the system for fluid-film bearing machines with small shafts or reduced side-view clearance, rather than as a general replacement for every standard 3300 XL 5 mm or 8 mm installation.
Before replacement or installation, verify the available mechanical clearance, target dimensions, probe mounting arrangement, and the complete probe/extension-cable/Proximitor-Sensor combination against the OEM requirements. The NSv system is specifically valuable where counterbore, side-view, or rear-view restrictions prevent the practical installation of standard 3300 or 3300 XL 5 mm/8 mm systems.
Bently Nevada states that the 3300 XL NSv Transducer System was designed to replace applicable 3300 RAM Transducer Systems and 3000-series or 7000-series 190 Transducer Systems. For an existing installation, the exact replacement configuration should therefore be checked against the original monitoring system and mechanical arrangement before ordering.
