HIMA F8621A is an H51q coprocessor module with an HD 64180 processor, 384 kbyte static memory, two galvanically isolated RS-485 interfaces and Dual Port RAM.
F8621A extends a documented HIMA H51q PES with dedicated coprocessor and serial-communication resources. Its static CMOS-RAM is battery-buffered through the F7131 power-supply monitoring module, while the two RS-485 channels support software-selected rates from 300 to 57600 bps or values inherited from the central-unit DIP-switch configuration.
Before removal, record the complete module marking, operating-system execution, rack slot, RS-485 cable allocation, S1-S4 positions and central-module pairing. After installation, verify the 5 V supply, communication parameters, RAM retention path and both serial channels under an approved commissioning procedure.
Important Notice: Other accessories, manuals, cables, calibration data, software, etc. are not included with this equipment unless listed in the above stock item description. All prices are shown in USD.
F8621A uses an HD 64180 microprocessor running at 10 MHz. The module contains 384 kbyte of static CMOS-RAM and EPROM on two ICs. RAM retention depends on the battery buffer provided through the F7131 power-supply monitoring module.
Dual Port RAM provides fast memory access to the second central module. Confirm the operating-system execution and paired central-module arrangement before exchanging hardware.
Two half-duplex RS-485 interfaces are galvanically isolated and supported by a dedicated communication processor. Software-selectable transmission rates are 300, 600, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400 and 57600 bps; the module can also take over the values selected on the central unit by DIP switch.
Each channel uses a 9-pin interface. Preserve the original S1-S4 switch positions, cable assignment, polarity, data-ground arrangement and control-signal wiring before removal.
The exact F8621A data sheet identifies the module for use in the HIMA H51q programmable electronic system. It occupies 4 TE and draws 360 mA from the 5 V DC system supply.
Confirm the approved coprocessor slot, central-module configuration, operating system, F7131 RAM-backup path and redundant-system arrangement from the installed H51q documentation. Similar HIMA communication or CPU modules are not assumed interchangeable.
Match the complete F8621A marking, front-panel layout and installed H51q slot. Record the operating-system execution, S1-S4 positions, both RS-485 cable assignments, central-module pairing and F7131 battery-buffer arrangement before removal.
After replacement, verify the 5 V DC supply, module diagnostics, retained communication settings, data exchange with the central module and both RS-485 channels before returning the safety system to service.
The official data sheet specifies 5 V DC operating data at 360 mA and a space requirement of 4 TE. The two RS-485 ports operate half-duplex with galvanic isolation. Only the documented switch settings and transmission rates may be used.
System compatibility depends on the complete H51q hardware and software configuration. Do not infer interchangeability from a similar front panel, connector count or nearby F86xx model number.
Obsolete / Discontinued by OEM
Moore Automated supports supply of new and unused F8621A stock subject to written availability. Each allocated unit receives a pre-shipment identity and condition inspection to support stable operation and reduce unplanned downtime in qualified H51q systems.
