Analog Output Module has 8 unipolar analog output channels. To supervise the communication to the D/A-converters the serial data is read back and verified. The opencircuit diagnostic is received during the readback. The module performs self-diagnostic cyclically. The module diagnostics includes process power supply supervision, which is reported when supply voltage to output circuitry is to low. The error is reported as a channel error. The channel diagnostic includes fault detection of the channel (only reported on active channels). The error is reported if the output current is less than the output set value and the output set value is greater than 1 mA.
Comprehensive loop monitoring and safety self-diagnostics: This module integrates advanced diagnostic and safety protection functions, capable of detecting open-circuit faults. When the output current falls below a set threshold, the module automatically triggers a channel error alarm, facilitating quick location of open-circuit faults by maintenance personnel. Simultaneously, it can monitor the process power supply voltage in real time. If an internal hardware fault or undervoltage is detected, the module provides clear error information via status indicator lights, significantly improving operational safety and maintainability in industrial environments.

OSP Fault Safety Protection: This module has a built-in OSP (Output Set to Preset Value) function. When a communication failure, system error, or controller failure is detected, the output will automatically reset to a preset safe state to prevent field actuator failure.
Short Circuit and Voltage Monitoring: The output has high-standard short circuit protection (safe short circuit to zero or +24V); it also has process power supply monitoring functionality. When the power supply voltage is lower than the threshold, the module status indicator will immediately issue an alarm.
Hot-Swapping and Misfit Insertion Prevention: Supports field hot-swapping, requiring the use of a base terminal unit (MTU, such as TU810, TU812, TU814, TU830, TU833, etc.). Its unique mechanical key control design completely eliminates the risk of hardware damage caused by misinserting different module models during routine maintenance and replacement.
