After receiving electrical signals from field devices or control units, the input terminal performs isolation, shaping, and adaptive processing through internal circuitry to ensure the signals meet the system's communication or control logic requirements before outputting to the target control layer or execution unit. This process relies on a stable electrical isolation structure and signal conversion path design to guarantee high reliability, low distortion, and stable signal transmission in industrial environments.
- Control Module Infrastructure: It provides the physical and electrical backbone for the IEMMU21 (rear-mounted) and IEMMU22 (front-mounted) chassis, supporting up to 12 system modules per unit.
- Signal and Communication Routing: The backplane facilitates the distribution of critical signals, including control buses, module buses, and I/O expansion buses, enabling seamless communication between different modules.
- Regulated Power Distribution: It distributes internal regulated voltages (+5V, +15V, and -15V) to provide logical power to all inserted modules.
- Industrial Automation: Widely used in high-risk industries such as power generation, petrochemicals, and manufacturing, it provides a stable foundation for the Symphony Plus and Infi 90 DCS platforms.
