RETA-01 performs the documented ethernet adapter module function within the DCS 800 system. Confirm the recorded power, signal, communication and mechanical interfaces against the approved equipment record. Do not infer ratings or interchangeability from appearance; the complete label and hardware revision control selection.
Replacement of RETA-01 requires an exact match to the receiving DCS 800 hardware, connected assemblies and configuration record. Record the installed position and connections before removal, preserve required settings, and verify every affected function after installation.
Before energizing RETA-01, inspect mounting, connector keying, terminal allocation, protective grounding and paired equipment. After startup, review diagnostics and complete controlled functional tests before returning the equipment to service.
