The MC4U line of universal digital PWM drive modules are specifically designed to provide high performance and cost effective solution for demanding multi-axis applications. The drives are optimized for low noise, providing the best possible stand still jitter and velocity smoothness and are fully programmable for easy setup and diagnostics.
The drives are the most advanced servo drives available today. It is based on the proprietary and unique technology that exceeds stand still jitter and tracking error performance that until now has been achieved only with linear drives, with reduced cost of ownership. The low power modules include up to four drives and high power modules include two drives for optimal costs and performance.

This hardware features a fast self-protection trip limit function to protect the driver and connected motors:
Hardware Safe Torque Turn-Off (STO): Dual-channel inputs reduce the gate voltage of the output bridge without interrupting the logic power, allowing the PLC to maintain encoder tracking during emergency stops.
Fault Trigger: Monitors parameters including short circuits (phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground), overcurrent surges, overvoltage spikes, undervoltage drops, and driver overheating.
By configuring the SPiiPlus MMI Application Studio, drivers can be software-adapted to run on a variety of different motor architectures:
1.AC servo/DC brushless motors: High-dynamic permanent magnet synchronous motors.
2.DC brushed/voice coil motors: Linear actuator or traditional brushed commutated motors.
3.AC induction motors: Asynchronous industrial motors for speed or vector modes.
4.Stepper motors: Two-phase or three-phase hybrid stepper motors performing closed-loop microstepping.
