The Allen-Bradley 2098-DSD-020X Ultra 3000 digital servo driver (with indexing function) is a single-phase high-performance driver rated for 100-240V AC, 18A current, and 47-63Hz input frequency. It features an 1880 µF bus capacitor and provides 400V DC bus overvoltage protection. The 2098-DSD-020X has a total output power of 2kW and a maximum energy absorption capacity of 51 Joules.

It uses Class J (LPJ-20SP) and Class CC (FNQ-R-20) fuses and supports a 5V auxiliary logic power supply. Its auxiliary feedback offers four input modes: Channel A, Channel B, Step/Direction, and Clockwise/Counterclockwise, with a maximum input signal frequency of 2.5MHz, and selectable differential, single-ended, and open-collector input types.

The 2098-DSD-020X model is designed for FNQ-R-20 CC class fuses and LPJ-20SP J class fuses. The nominal input current requirements for this high-speed driver are: 18 A (RMS) for Series A and 100 A for Series B at 230VAC (0 peak) input voltage; and 20 A for Series C. The driver has a bus capacitance rating of 1880 µF and a bus overvoltage rating of 400 VDC. Its energy absorption capability is 125 Joules at 115VAC input voltage and 51 Joules at 230VAC input voltage.
Indexed Profiles: The driver can directly store up to 64 motion profiles. These profiles can be triggered via digital input or communication networks, allowing for rapid switching between different process states without reprogramming.
 
Master/Slave Mode: Supports up to 8 different master/slave gear ratios, suitable for electronic gear drive applications.
 
Preset Speeds: Provides 8 selectable preset speeds, enabling precise speed control via digital input.
