Important Notice: Other accessories, manuals, cables, calibration data, software, etc. are not included with this equipment unless listed in the above stock item description. All prices are shown in USD.
1734-EP24DC regenerates POINTBus power and begins a new field-power segment for modules to its right. The field-power bus is rated to 10 A maximum, while usable POINTBus output current depends on supply voltage and mounting orientation.
Mount the power supply on the DIN rail between POINT I/O modules, engage both side interlocks and use only 12/24 V DC wiring. Terminals 6 and 7 are +V DC, terminals 4 and 5 are common and terminals 2 and 3 are chassis ground.
The supply supports four to seventeen downstream modules according to individual current ratings. A full POINT I/O system may use multiple expansion supplies, but scanner capacity, module count, voltage derating and field-power segmentation must all remain within the documented limits.
Verify the complete 1734-EP24DC catalog number, series/revision, Allen-Bradley label, connector or terminal arrangement and installed system position. Match the field wiring, supply ratings and retained configuration to the approved equipment record before acceptance.
After installation, confirm power and chassis diagnostics, inspect every affected terminal, verify the documented electrical ratings and prove all downstream or output functions under an approved controlled test procedure. Record the final revision, wiring and test results.
