The 2711P-B15C22D9P is a visualization component that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. PanelView Plus 7 Performance operator terminal. This operator terminal is an industrial device, typically called as Human Machine Interface (HMI) that enables control of process or machine to implement automation in the factory floor. The 2711P-B15C22D9P has 15-in colored graphic screen that supports implementation of high level of plant and process information. Control is initiated via the Touch and keypad input interfaces for flexibility of operation.
When installing the device, appropriate enclosures are NEMA and UL Type 12, 13, 4X, also rated IP66 as Classified by UL. This device is flush mounted to the mentioned enclosures and must be operated at an operating temperature of 0…55 °C (32…131 °F). Install appropriate cooling devices to maintain the required operating temperature with reference to the device’ typical heat dissipation of 61 BTU. It has internal system memory of 512 MB RAM and 512 MB storage with approximately 80 MB free non-volatile user memory as storage.
The 2711P-B15C22D9P Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus 7 Graphic Terminal may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

As a high-performance terminal, this device offers a significant improvement in computing power compared to the standard version: Core Configuration: Up to 512 MB of built-in RAM and 512 MB of non-volatile flash memory (approximately 80 MB of which is dedicated to storing large user HMI applications).
Advanced Software Features: Pre-installed with a Windows operating system and the FactoryTalk View Machine Edition (ME) runtime environment. Therefore, it supports hundreds of complex monitoring interfaces and thousands of alarms, and includes a built-in PDF viewer, web browser, and a complete data platform for VNC remote connectivity and remote recipe management (.CSV file format).
Dual Ethernet Ports (DLR): The unit integrates two 10/100Base-T industrial Ethernet interfaces (supporting automatic MDI/MDI-X switching). Its most prominent feature is support for Device Level Ring (DLR) topology. Even if a section of physical network cable in the factory is accidentally broken, the network can seamlessly switch to a backup path within microseconds, ensuring uninterrupted central HMI data and system fault alarms even in harsh environments.
Interfaces and Expansion: Onboard two high-speed USB 2.0 host ports (for connecting external mice, keyboards, or USB flash drives) and one USB expansion device port, along with a standard SD card slot (Rockwell's official 1784-SD1 expansion card is recommended).
Electrical and Durability: The entire unit has passed industrial-grade CE, c-UL-us, KCC, and RoHS authoritative safety certifications. The front of the enclosure offers a dust and water resistance rating of up to IP66 / NEMA 4X, operates on 24V DC power (rated voltage range of 18 to 30V DC), and has a maximum power consumption of less than 50W. It can operate extremely stably in workshops with continuous large temperature differences, ranging from 0 to 55°C (32 to 131°F).
