This operator terminal is used for real-time monitoring of machines or processes within a factory. By exchanging data with partner automation equipment such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), programmable automation controllers (PACs), gateways, stand-alone controllers, and third-party devices, the logic and data in the memory of these devices can be modified. Operators can view the process through a graphical interface, enabling user-friendly control and monitoring.

The 2711P-T10C4D1 allows process operation via an analog resistive touchscreen interface designed to withstand up to 1 million presses at a pressure of 10-110 grams. It is equipped with 64 MB of random access memory (RAM) and 64 MB of flash memory. The operating terminal is powered by an external 24VDC power supply.
