- 99 option includes the specified 32 ft cable for direct field installation.
The Bently Nevada 190501-09-99-01 Velomitor CT is a low-frequency version of the standard Velomitor piezo-velocity sensor. Bently Nevada designed the CT version specifically for casing vibration measurements on cooling-tower and air-cooled heat-exchanger fan assemblies, where operating speeds can be significantly lower than those of many conventional rotating machines. The sensor measures both fan-related vibration and vibration frequencies generated by the fan motor and speed reducer.
This particular configuration combines the 190501 sensor with a 3/8-24 UNF to 1/4 NPT plate stud, an included 32 ft cable, and the applicable agency-approval option. The transducer has a nominal sensitivity of 3.94 mV/mm/s, a frequency response of 3.0–900 Hz ±1.0 dB or 1.5 Hz–1.0 kHz ±3.0 dB, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
The 190501-09-99-01 Bently Nevada Velomitor CT Velocity Transducer may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The 190501-09-99-01 ordering configuration can be read directly from the manufacturer's ordering table: 190501 identifies the Velomitor CT transducer family; 09 selects the 3/8-24 UNF to 1/4 NPT plate stud mounting hardware; 99 specifies a unit with an included 32-foot cable; and 01 selects one of the manufacturer's agency-approval configurations.
The manufacturer specifies a mounting torque of 4.5 N·m ±0.6 N·m (40 ±5 in-lbf). The transducer may be installed in any orientation, and the specified polarity is that Pin A becomes positive relative to Pin B when velocity is directed from the base toward the top of the transducer.
The 190501 Velomitor CT can be used with Bently Nevada monitoring systems that accept seismic velocity-transducer inputs. In particular, Bently Nevada identifies the 3500/70M Recip Impulse/Velocity Monitor as accepting velocity and acceleration inputs from seismic transducers including the Velomitor CT.
