Features:
- The 080 configuration provides a nominal 8.0 m (26.2 ft) extension cable for the 3300 XL 8 mm proximity transducer system.
- The 03 option specifies an armored cable with a connector protector for additional mechanical and environmental protection.
- The 05 option provides CSA, ATEX, and IECEx approvals for applications requiring these certification configurations.
The Bently Nevada 330130-080-03-05 is a 3300 XL standard extension cable designed for use as a component of the 3300 XL 8 mm proximity transducer system. Bently Nevada defines this complete system as consisting of a 3300 XL 8 mm probe, an extension cable, and a 3300 XL Proximitor sensor.
The extension cable forms a critical part of the electrical connection between the proximity probe and the Proximitor sensor and must be selected as part of the overall transducer system configuration. Bently Nevada specifies that the combined length of the extension cable and the probe must match the total system length required by the Proximitor sensor.
The 330130-080-03-05 Bently Nevada 3300 XL Standard Extension Cable may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

During installation, the cable should be routed without exceeding the manufacturer's specified 25.4 mm minimum bend radius. Because this particular configuration includes armor and a connector protector, the available routing space around connectors and cable-entry points should also be checked before installation. Correct connector and system configuration are important because the extension cable is part of the complete probe-to-Proximitor measurement circuit rather than a generic signal cable.
The 330130-080-03-05 belongs to the 3300 XL 8 mm system, whose components are designed for complete interchangeability between compatible XL probes, extension cables, and Proximitor Sensors. Bently Nevada also states that 3300 XL components are backward compatible and interchangeable with applicable non-XL 3300 Series 5 mm and 8 mm transducer-system components, subject to the relevant application and installation requirements.
When specifying a replacement for an existing installation, the 8.0 m extension length, armored construction, connector protector, and CSA/ATEX/IECEx approval configuration should all be checked against the installed probe, Proximitor Sensor, mechanical routing, and site certification requirements rather than treating 330130-080-03-05 as a simple cable-length replacement.
