The Bently Nevada 330704-000-078-10-01-05 is part of the 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Transducer System, which combines an 11 mm proximity probe, compatible extension cable and Proximitor Sensor to provide non-contacting vibration and displacement measurements. The larger 11 mm probe tip provides a longer linear sensing range than the standard 3300 XL 8 mm system, making the technology suitable for axial position, radial vibration and position, Keyphasor, tachometer and zero-speed measurements.
This particular probe uses an M14 × 1.5 thread, stainless-steel armor, 1.0 m probe length, ClickLoc connector with protector, standard cable and Multiple Approvals. The probe uses a 75 Ω triaxial FEP-insulated cable, an AISI 304 stainless-steel case and PPS sensing tip. Bently Nevada specifies a recommended 2.5 mm gap for the 3300 XL 11 mm system, a 4.0 mm linear range and a typical frequency response of 0 to 8 kHz.

The probe is one component of the complete 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Transducer System. The compatible probe, extension cable and Proximitor Sensor must be selected as a matching system; Bently Nevada specifies 5 m and 9 m complete system lengths, with the probe and extension cable lengths together matching the Proximitor Sensor's total system length.
Set the probe gap at approximately 2.5 mm (100 mils) for the specified 3300 XL 11 mm system conditions. Keep the probe cable bend radius at or above 25.4 mm, observe the M14 × 1.5 torque and thread-engagement limits, and protect the ClickLoc connection in accordance with the installation requirements.
