Features:
- 990 Vibration Transmitter
- Integrated Proximitor Sensor requires no external unit
- Test Input pin for quick verification of loop signal output, using a function generator as the input
The Model 990 vibration transmitter is primarily targeted at original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) of centrifugal air compressors or small pumps, motors or fans who want to provide a simple 4 to 20 mA proportional vibration signal as input to their mechanical control systems.
The transmitter is a two-wire, loop-powered device that accepts input from our 3300 NSv proximity probe and its matching extension cable (available in 5 m and 7 m system length options).
The 990-05-70-01-06 Bently Nevada 990 Vibration Transmitter may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Input Compatibility: Must be used with the non-contact 3300 NSv proximity probe and its matching 3300 NSv extension cable (7 meters in total length).
Power Requirements: Loop-powered, requiring a continuous supply voltage of +12 to +35 Vdc at the terminal connections.
Frequency Response Range: Accurately monitors machine housing or shaft movement, with a performance range of 5 Hz to 6,000 Hz (+0, -3 dB).
Built-in Troubleshooting: Equipped with a non-isolated front coaxial BNC connector (PROX OUT) for outputting raw dynamic voltage waveforms and probe gap voltage for vibration diagnostics. A built-in "Abnormal/Signal Suppression" circuit clamps the current output to a low level (< 3.6 mA) to prevent false alarms in case of probe cable breakage or disconnection.
