Its main function is to accurately measure the axial displacement (position), radial vibration, eccentricity, and rotational speed/critical phase of rotating shaft systems. It is a core sensing element for protecting large industrial drive equipment and connecting to fault diagnosis systems such as the AMS Machine Health Management System or the Brerkjaer Bently monitoring system.

As a complementary component, the CON041 preamplifier (signal converter) is typically mounted in a field junction box via a DIN rail, providing superior high-frequency signal amplification and interference-resistant output.
