Features:
- GE Multilin 489-P5-HI-A20 is a generator protection relay with 5 A phase CT inputs, high-range control power and 4–20 mA analog outputs.
- Confirm P5 phase CT rating, HI control-power range, A20 analog outputs, ground CT, communications, protection settings and panel wiring before replacement.
- Preserve the CT circuits, trip wiring, control power, analog loops and saved relay settings, and follow the approved drawout-relay isolation procedure.
489-P5-HI-A20 must be matched to the receiving equipment and project record. Perform secondary injection, trip-circuit, analog-output, communications and protection-setting verification before returning the generator to service.
