      As a critical network interface for a SIL 3 certified Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) Safety Instrumented System (SIS), this module's primary function is to build a highly reliable external communication bridge.

      The module comes standard with two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports (RJ-45 copper interfaces) and four serial ports (RS-232/RS-485), supporting transmission rates up to 115.2 Kbps.

      The 4351B Invensys Triconex Communication Modules may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
