This processor module is part of the Modicon M340 series of programmable automation controllers (PACs). It supports up to four-rack configurations, providing 36 application-specific channels, 63 CANopen slaves, and 11 slots. The module consumes 135mA at 24V DC and is powered by an internal power supply.

It is rugged, high-quality, and based on the latest innovative technology. The communication processor module interfaces include two Ethernet modules and four AS-Interface modules. It comes with a memory card for backing up programs, constants, symbols, and data. The product has an IP20 protection rating.
