Features:
- SINAMICS S120 SINGLE MOTOR MODULES
- Replacement fan (complete assembly kit) for AC Drive/Power/Motor
- Module Built-in units Frame sizes G, H and J
As part of a modular drive architecture, this module converts grid power into controllable output power, enabling precise regulation of motor speed, torque, and motion dynamics. Its robust design allows for reliable operation in high-performance industrial environments such as production lines, processing plants, and heavy machinery systems.
Working in conjunction with the control unit and other system modules, this module forms a coordinated motion control platform. With advanced protection mechanisms, thermal management, and efficient power conversion capabilities, it helps improve system reliability, optimize energy utilization, and ensure long-term stable operation of the drive system.
The 6SL3320-1TE33-1AA3 Siemens SINAMICS S120 SINGLE MOTOR MODULES may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The input AC power is first rectified and regulated in a DC link, then converted into a variable-frequency, variable-voltage AC output via semiconductor switching devices such as IGBTs. Through high-speed switching and modulation technology controlled by the drive control unit, the module precisely adjusts motor operating parameters to ensure smooth acceleration, accurate speed regulation, and efficient energy delivery to the connected motor.
To ensure reliable operation, the integration of this chassis-type unit involves the following key steps:
1. Mechanical Installation: Designed for vertical mounting within a control cabinet. Sufficient space must be provided to allow forced air cooling (built-in fan) to dissipate power losses up to 3.10 kW.
2. Electrical Connections:
DC Bus: 600 V DC input, connected with M10 screws.
Motor Connection: Three-phase output, connected with M10 screws.
Communication: Includes a DRIVE-CLiQ cable for high-speed serial communication with SINAMICS control units (e.g., CU320-2).
Electrostatic Discharge Protection: Siemens manuals warn that to avoid damage from electrostatic discharge, the electronic module should only be operated via the front panel or edges.
