Features:
- SIMATIC MP 270B Key Multi Panel 10.4" TFT
- HMI Touchscreen panel spare parts; widescreen TFT display
- Display 4 MB configuration memory, configurable with ProTool From Version V6.0
Its primary function is to provide operators and maintenance personnel with a portable control and visualization platform, enabling them to directly monitor, diagnose, and control machines in real time at the operation site. Equipped with a high-resolution touchscreen display, integrated safety controls, and robust communication capabilities, it intuitively displays process variables, alarm information, and machine status.
Another key feature of the 6AV6542-0AG10-0AX0 is its seamless integration into industrial communication networks such as PROFIBUS or PROFINET. It supports advanced Human-Machine Interface (HMI) tasks, including alarm management, parameter adjustment, recipe processing, and commissioning support.
The 6AV6542-0AG10-0AX0 Siemens HMI Touchscreen panel may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The 6AV6542-0AG10-0AX0 operates based on bidirectional communication between the HMI and the automation controller. This control panel exchanges process data with the PLC system via an industrial Ethernet or fieldbus network and displays information on the screen in real time, while simultaneously transmitting operator input back to the control system. When the operator interacts with the touchscreen or safety control device, the device translates these operations into control commands that are executed by the PLC, thus forming a closed-loop interaction within the human-machine interface.
Industrial Visualization: Displays process data, alarm information, and system status across various industries, including manufacturing and processing.
Machine Control: Equipped with 36 function keys (28 with LED indicators) for manual machine operation, setpoint input, and system navigation.
Distributed Automation: Suitable for complex automation tasks requiring multiple interface protocols (MPI, PROFIBUS, Ethernet) to connect different types of controllers.
Safety and Monitoring: Commonly used in safety-critical systems, providing visual feedback and alarm management (handling up to 4,000 bits/analog messages).
