Features:
- Wiring-dependent channel count: Four two-wire inputs or two three-/four-wire inputs support the documented sensor arrangements.

The module converts compatible resistance measurements into ET 200S input data. Lead resistance and the selected two-, three- or four-wire connection affect how a sensor circuit must be installed and configured; channel count must therefore be determined from the intended wiring method.
Before replacing 6ES7134-4JB51-0AB0, compare the full order number, terminal module, sensor characteristic and configured range. Review the integration time, smoothing and diagnostic options alongside the process response requirement, and use the applicable Siemens terminal assignment rather than a generic temperature-sensor diagram.

Channel count follows wiring
Four channels are available with two-wire connections; three-wire or four-wire connections provide two channels. Select the documented terminal assignment and sensor characteristic. The common housing does not make all wiring modes electrically equivalent.
Timing depends on configuration
The data sheet lists 16.7 ms or 20 ms integration and 66/80 ms conversion, with extra time for wire-break diagnostics. Smoothing settings span 1, 4, 32 or 64 module cycles. Evaluate the total response using the actual engineering settings.
Compare the sensor and diagnostic report
Wire-break, overflow and underflow indications should be checked against sensor continuity, configured range and terminal assignment. The red SF LED indicates a group fault; use the controller diagnostic information to identify the affected condition.
