Configured ET 200M or DP/PA Link
The interface is documented for ET 200M and DP/PA Link, with up to twelve S7-300 modules in the applicable arrangement. Confirm the installed bus modules, power budget and approved module list; the interface alone is not a complete remote-I/O station.
Accuracy depends on population
The exact data sheet states 1 ms accuracy with up to eight modules and 10 ms with up to twelve. Up to 128 digital signals per station and 32 per slot can be time-stamped. Check the complete event-acquisition configuration rather than treating these limits as independent guarantees.
Network configuration
The RS-485 PROFIBUS DP interface supports automatic rate detection up to 12 Mbit/s. Match the node address, bus connector, termination and engineering project. Redundancy and maintenance operations require the applicable Siemens system instructions.
