Features:
- SIMATIC ET 200SP, analog input module
- AI 4XU/I 2-wire Standard, suitable for BU type A0, A1, Color code CC03
- MODULE DIAGNOSIS,16 bit, +/-0.3%
It can flexibly handle various industrial standard signals, supporting two-wire and four-wire current (0/4-20 mA) and voltage (±5V, ±10V, 1-5V, 0-10V) inputs, thus building a precise data bridge between field instruments and the PLC. Its compact 15mm width design ensures high-performance data acquisition while significantly optimizing space within the control cabinet.
It supports up to 16-bit resolution (including the sign bit), ensuring extremely high measurement accuracy, making it ideal for precise monitoring of analog parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow rate, or level. Furthermore, the module supports hot-swapping, allowing module replacement without interrupting system operation, significantly improving equipment maintenance efficiency.
The 6ES7134-6HD00-0BA1 Siemens Analog input module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

In terms of operation, the module acquires continuous electrical signals (current or voltage) from field sensors via its input terminals. These physical signals are first switched by an internal multiplexer and then enter a high-performance analog-to-digital converter (A/D) to convert the continuous analog voltage or current values into corresponding 16-bit digital values. During the conversion process, the module performs signal smoothing according to configured filtering parameters to eliminate high-frequency interference. Finally, the processed digital signal is transmitted in real time to the central processing unit (PLC) via the ET 200SP's backplane bus for the control program to perform logic operations and process control.
1. Process Monitoring: Collects variables such as pressure, temperature, flow rate, and level in industries such as food and beverage, water treatment, and pharmaceuticals.
2. Machinery Control: Reads 0-10V position feedback from servo drives or load cells for packaging and assembly machinery.
3. Building Automation: Connects to humidity, temperature, and carbon dioxide sensors for HVAC and occupancy-based climate control.
4. Distributed I/O Stations: Its 15mm width makes it ideal for high-density control cabinets, significantly saving panel space.
