Functional Advantage of the G13 Module
Features:
- Siemens SIPART PS2 Series positioner platform
- 2-wire system utilizing a standard 4 to 20 mA analog input control signal
- Double-acting pneumatic block (drives air to both sides of the cylinder piston)
SIPART PS2 Smart, electropneumatic positioner, 4...20mA, Ex/nEx, double-acting, polycarbonate enclosure, for pneumatic linear and part-turn actuators. Non-contacting (wear-free) position detection (NCS). Standard Without explosion protection. Connection thread el.: M20x1.5 / pneu.: G 1/4 Digital I/O Module (DIO), 1 digital input, 3 digital outputs (2 min. or max. limit values, 1 fault indicator). The internal position detection is not applied but can be ordered in addition with ‑Z K11 and or K12. Device plug M12 is not available. Isolating power supply SITRANS I100 separately orderable (7NG4124-1AA00). Standard / Fail-Safe - Depressurizing the actuator in case of failure of electrical auxiliary power (single acting only). Without Manometer block / Venting gauge block / Booster. Certificate EN 10204 type 2.1.

The factory-installed digital I/O module (DIO) included in this configuration enhances system monitoring capabilities directly at the valve. Three digital outputs are typically used to map two independent, user-defined process stroke limit thresholds (minimum/maximum stroke limits) and a dedicated equipment fault alarm output line.
