The 6DR5510-0EG00-0AA0 converts PROFIBUS PA commands into the pneumatic output required to position a compatible single-acting linear or part-turn actuator. During operation it regulates valve position and makes positioner status and diagnostic information available to the digital control network, helping the control system monitor the final-control element as well as command it.
This order-code execution uses a polycarbonate enclosure, intrinsically safe Ex i protection, an M20 x 1.5 electrical entry and G 1/4 pneumatic connections. Correct application depends on the actuator travel or angle, fail action, mounting kit, supply-air conditions, PA segment design and hazardous-area documentation; the complete order code must therefore be evaluated rather than the SIPART PS2 family name alone.
