ABB BRC300 is a bridge controller for ABB Symphony Plus Harmony Rack control systems. It executes control strategies and coordinates communication with field I/O and the plant control network.
BRC300 uses a 32-bit processing architecture and supports ABB function-code control, C applications, Batch 90 and user-defined functions. The controller can operate with redundant controller, communication, I/O and power arrangements.
ABB BRC300 interfaces with HR Series I/O and can be engineered for integration with SD Series and S800 I/O through the supported Symphony Plus architecture. Confirm firmware, memory, redundancy and termination requirements before replacing an installed controller.
