The ABB BRC400 (Bridge Controller 400, part numbers including PHCBRC40000000 / SPBRC400) is a high-performance, high-capacity rack-mount process controller from ABB for Symphony Plus, Symphony Harmony, and INFI 90 distributed control systems (DCS). As the core engine of industrial process control, it is fully compatible with previous Network 90 and INFI 90 controller architectures in terms of functionality, communication, and packaging, enabling seamless, risk-free upgrades to existing systems.

Designed for demanding applications such as power generation and heavy industry, this controller offers more than 10 times the processing power of its predecessor. The BRC400 boasts excellent scalability for system integration and field control, simultaneously supporting all Harmony rack I/O and Harmony block I/O subsystems, and allowing integration of S800 I/O modules via the IOR 800 interface. This module has a built-in 2MB non-volatile configuration memory (NVRAM), and a single controller can support up to 30,000 function block configurations. It comes pre-installed with more than 150 control algorithms (function codes), fully supports continuous, sequential, batch processing and advanced control strategies, and provides a C language programming environment.
