The
ABB IMSER02 is a sequence-of-events recorder module in the Harmony Sequence of Events family. It supports collection and reporting of time-sequenced field transitions for plant event analysis and diagnostics. Its complete ordering identity should be checked against the installed product before procurement.
ABB documentation identifies sequence-of-events recording function, harmony distributed event architecture, works with event input, time-keeping, and system reporting resources, rack-mounted legacy module. Use the approved rack position, module cable, termination hardware, power arrangement, field wiring, and system configuration for the application.
The ABB IMSER02 is a legacy ABB product. Moore Automated can support replacement and spare-part requirements; the ABB-documented evolution reference is current Symphony Plus SOE architecture using SPSEM11 and compatible SPTKM01 time-keeping resources, subject to application verification.

Communication Role
ABB IMSER02 supports collection and reporting of time-sequenced field transitions for plant event analysis and diagnostics. ABB documentation identifies sequence-of-events recording function, harmony distributed event architecture, works with event input, time-keeping, and system reporting resources, rack-mounted legacy module.
Interface Requirements
Match the complete IMSER02 order identity with the installed ABB rack, backplane, termination unit, module cable, field signal or network, power supply, and engineering configuration. Commission the product only after wiring, addresses, channel assignments, and compatibility have been verified.
Lifecycle Guidance
Obsolete/Discontinued by OEM. The ABB evolution reference is current Symphony Plus SOE architecture using SPSEM11 and compatible SPTKM01 time-keeping resources. This is not automatically a drop-in replacement; verify signal, termination, wiring, communication, and configuration compatibility. Moore Automated supplies high-quality ABB replacement modules and spare parts to help reduce customer downtime.
