ABB IMHSS03 is a hydraulic servo module for ABB Harmony Rack turbine-control applications. It positions a hydraulic actuator by driving a servo valve or current-to-hydraulic converter and processing position feedback.
IMHSS03 supports manual or automatic actuator control under the Harmony controller using the applicable ABB hydraulic-servo function codes. Typical controlled devices include steam-turbine throttle and control valves, gas-turbine fuel valves, inlet guide vanes and nozzle-angle mechanisms.
ABB IMHSS03 uses LVDT position feedback and must be coordinated with the controller configuration, termination hardware, hydraulic actuator and feedback calibration. Confirm supply loading, wiring polarity, travel limits and fail-safe behavior before commissioning.
The IMHSS03 ABB Hydraulic Servo Module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
