Features:
- Generating control commands and sending measurement signals to the inverter unit
- Real-time acquisition of key hardware feedback data in the inverter main circuit
- Electrical isolation protection
This is a high-performance main circuit interface board designed specifically for industrial frequency converters such as the ACS600 series. Its core function is to establish an efficient communication link between the control unit and the main power supply circuit.
This board supports both Profibus DP master/slave mode and Modbus RTU dual protocols, enabling mainstream PLCs to directly schedule the frequency converter system. It also provides system monitoring, signal feedback, and industrial-grade protection functions to ensure long-term stable operation.
The NINT-42 58907952H ABB Main Circuit Interface Board may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

In terms of operating principle, the NINT-42 relies on its built-in isolation conversion mechanism to modulate control commands into pulse signals and feed back real-time data. Through a processing chip, it achieves safe isolation and data exchange between the low-voltage control system and the high-voltage power supply main circuit. Applicable Series: Widely used in ABB ACS600 frequency converters, ACH600 HVAC frequency converters, and in conjunction with the matching NGDR-03 gate drive board.
Lifecycle Status: This series of boards is currently in ABB's Discontinued/Limited Lifecycle Service phase.
Replacement Precautions: Before disconnecting the fiber optic cable or ribbon cable on the NINT-42 board, ensure the frequency converter is completely powered off and wait for the DC circuit capacitors to discharge completely (usually at least 5–15 minutes). Use a multimeter to confirm the DC bus voltage is safe before proceeding.
When replacing spare parts, strictly compare the jumper settings on the new and old boards to ensure they are consistent. Jumpers are typically used to define the frequency converter's power frame size or specific channel feedback coefficient.
