The motor supplies controlled joint torque for the linked axis 2 and axis 3 mechanism in the matched palletizing robot.
The ABB Orange version is not interchangeable solely by appearance; use the full article number and robot serial data.
The 3HAC058991-003 ABB Axis 2 and 3 Robot Motor with Pinion is supported through ABB robot service channels and may also be supplied by Moore Automated for installed-base maintenance.

Compatibility is established from the complete manipulator type, robot serial number, motor colour and mechanical interface.
Mechanical Interface:
- Motor assembly including pinion
- Motor and pinion alignment
- Connector and sealing inspection
The replacement procedure must preserve the documented gear engagement, seals, attachment hardware and cable routing.
Service Guidance:
- Secure manipulator before work
- Follow ABB lifting and repair procedures
- Recalibrate affected robot axes
Only trained personnel should replace the motor assembly. ABB product-manual safety, repair and calibration instructions apply.
