The 1769-L23E-QBFC1B is a CompactLogix packaged controller manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This controller is ideal for small applications controlling industrial machines or processes. This module features embedded I/O channels, including 16 discrete 24VDC inputs, 16 discrete 24VDC outputs, 4 analog inputs, 2 analog outputs, and 4 high-speed counters.
The 1769-L23E-QBFC1B also supports I/O expansion, allowing up to 1769 Compact I/O modules to be installed. For communication with Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and other visualization systems, the 1769-L23E-QBFC1B provides an Ethernet I/O interface and an RS232 serial port. The Ethernet port supports 10/10 Mbps data transfer rates and is designed for network topologies. The RS232 port supports DF1 and ASCII protocols, making it ideal for point-to-point communication with a maximum transmission rate of 19200 Kbaud.

RSLogix 5000 / Studio 5000: Programmable through Rockwell's Logix software ecosystem.
Firmware limitations: As it is a traditional L23 controller, its firmware support is limited to version 20. It cannot be updated to newer firmware versions such as V21+ or Studio 5000 Logix Designer.
