Allen Bradley's 1756-BA2 battery pack is a critical component for specific applications. Utilizing lithium-ion battery technology, this pack has a rated output voltage of 3V DC, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of systems. It is specifically designed for the ControlLogix 5560 Series B controller, enabling safe and stable operation.
This 1200 mAh battery pack provides reliable power to control environments. Its design allows it to withstand a variety of operating conditions, with an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit). Furthermore, to maintain its functionality and performance, it is recommended to store it within the same temperature range.
The 1756-BA2 Allen Bradley Lithium Battery Assembly may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Target Compatibility: Compatible only with B-series controllers of the 1756-L61, 1756-L62, 1756-L63, 1756-L64, and 1756-L65 series.
Note: A-series controllers use the older 1756-BA1 battery; they are not interchangeable due to different physical connectors.
Product Lifecycle: Rockwell Automation has officially announced the discontinuation of the 1756-BA2 battery. This product will be permanently discontinued on December 31, 2027, and Rockwell Automation currently has no plans for a direct replacement.
The 1756-BA2 battery can operate in environments with relative humidity up to 80% (provided condensation does not occur). This ensures that moisture does not affect its performance. Furthermore, the battery pack can operate effectively in environments above 1000 meters in altitude, making it suitable for various installation configurations in diverse environments.
