The Allen Bradley 1794-IB16 is a digital input module in the Flex I/O 1794 series. It offers 16 sink inputs, suitable for integration into various control systems. This module operates efficiently at a wide range of voltages, with a minimum operating voltage of 10V DC and a typical nominal voltage of 24V DC. The maximum operating voltage can reach 31.2V DC, enabling it to effectively handle input voltage fluctuations.
A key highlight of this module is its on-current control capability, with a minimum on-current of 2mA, a nominal on-current of 8mA, and a maximum on-current of 12mA, ensuring stable operation in various applications. Furthermore, the module has a maximum shutdown voltage of 5V DC and a shutdown current limit of 1.5mA, ensuring low power consumption when the input signal is inactive.
