1794-OF4I is an Allen-Bradley FLEX I/O module with four isolated analog output channels configurable for supported voltage or current ranges.
The 1794-OF4I adds four individually isolated analog output channels to a compatible FLEX I/O node. Each channel can be configured for a supported voltage or current range, allowing the controller to send analog setpoints to equipment such as valve positioners, I/P converters, variable-frequency drives and process instruments while maintaining channel-to-channel isolation.
The module provides 15-bit-plus-sign resolution and a documented all-channel update selection of 2.5 or 5.0 ms. Reliable operation depends on the correct FLEX I/O terminal base, a 19.2 to 31.2 V DC external supply, field polarity and load, channel range, scaling, data format and fault behavior. Those settings must match the controller program and connected device requirements.
Match each channel's voltage or current range, scaling, data format and fault action to the controller program.
Confirm the external 19.2 to 31.2 V DC supply and the exact compatible FLEX I/O terminal base before wiring.
Verify polarity, load range, commanded value, actual loop current or voltage and safe fault response on all four channels.
1794-OF4I provides four isolated analog output channels configurable for supported voltage or current ranges. Resolution is 15 bits plus sign and the documented all-channel update setting is 2.5 or 5.0 ms.
Provide a 19.2 to 31.2 V DC external supply, nominally 24 V DC, and confirm the terminal base, channel range, polarity, load, scaling, data format and fault behavior before commissioning.
1794-OF4I is supplied only after the complete model, revision, condition and included hardware are checked against the written quotation.
