Allen-Bradley 1794-TB32 is the Series A terminal base used to connect supported FLEX I/O modules to field wiring. Catalog identity, terminal style, wiring allocation and the installed module must all be verified before replacement.

The 1794-TB32 provides 32 cage-clamp I/O connections together with eight common and eight +V terminals. Rockwell specifies stranded copper conductors from 0.21 to 1.3 mm² (24 to 16 AWG), rated 75 °C, with terminal torque of 0.56 to 0.79 N·m.
Keep the field circuit within the documented 31.2 V limit and verify each signal, common and +V conductor against the installed module wiring diagram before energization.
Rockwell documents 1794-TB32 for 32-point FLEX I/O digital modules and specifically identifies it for use with 1794-IB16D. Compatibility is determined by the complete module catalog number, terminal-base keying and the required cage-clamp connection arrangement.
Do not substitute a screw-clamp or other terminal-base catalog solely because its external dimensions appear similar.
Install the terminal base on the documented FLEX I/O DIN-rail station, verify the mechanical interlock and confirm that field power is isolated. Check conductor preparation, terminal torque, common/+V allocation and the adjacent base connection before applying power.
The published environmental limits are −20 to +70 °C operation, 5–95% noncondensing humidity, 5 g vibration and 30 g operating shock.
