- It operates with a nominal DC bus voltage of 325 V DC and is capable of delivering continuous output power of 1.9 kW
The 2093-AM01 is an axis module designed specifically for the Kinetix 2000 multi-axis servo drive system. Its primary function is to control and regulate the motion of individual servo motors by providing precise current, speed, and position control. As part of a modular motion control platform, the 2093-AM01 supports multi-axis collaborative operation in applications such as packaging machinery, material handling systems, and automated assembly lines.
In real-world industrial environments, the 2093-AM01 enhances motion performance by providing high-bandwidth servo control and precise torque regulation. It connects to a shared power rail and communicates with a central controller to execute synchronized motion curves. The module supports feedback devices such as encoders or resolvers, ensuring closed-loop control and optimized dynamic response. Its compact, modular design allows for scalable system configurations for complex motion applications.
The 2093-AM01 Allen Bradley Kinetix 2000 Axis Module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

This module receives motion commands (such as position, speed, or torque reference values) from the system controller and compares them with real-time feedback signals from the motor encoder. It utilizes an internal control algorithm (typically based on PID regulation) to continuously adjust the output current of the motor windings via power switching devices such as IGBTs. This dynamic current regulation controls the motor torque and motion, thereby ensuring precise positioning, smooth acceleration, and stable operation of the servo system.
